The planning and preparations for the 15th Annual Tee It Up for the Troops Golf Classic of Central Illinois are well underway! Once again, Mt. Hawley Country Club has graciously offered to host this amazing event which will be held on Monday, August 12th. One of the most essential elements of a successful golf outing each year is the incredible support from the local business community. We hope you will join us in giving thanks to all those who serve(d) and sacrifice(d) with such honor.
The national Tee It Up for the Troops organization was created in 2005 to Honor, Remember, Respect, and Support all who serve(d) in the United States Armed Forces. Since establishing the Central Illinois Tee It Up for the Troops Chapter in 2009 in support of this mission, the proceeds from our events have made a positive difference in the lives of many local and national veterans, military personnel, and their families. We are especially proud of our tradition of treating local veterans, more than 3250 to date, to a therapeutic day on the golf course and a special day of recognition.
